Supporting Cabrini Connections and the Tutor/Mentor Connection

As President of Legacy Mortgage Company, I'm proud to announce my support of Cabrini Connections and the Tutor/Mentor Connection. This is an ambitious organization that provides inner city youth with personal mentors, coaches and tutors that invest heavily in the lives of under- privileged students, enabling them to succeed in the classroom and beyond. In a culture that demands results, this is an organization that rises to the top. Graduates of Cabrini Connections are moving forward through their education and into careers and people throughout the Chicago region and the world are drawing upon the Tutor/Mentor Connection for help in starting and supporting tutor/mentor programs in hundreds of neighborhoods.

The annual Annual Jimmy Biggs Memorial Cabrini Connections Golf Benefit is part of a year-round sequence of events and actions that intend to draw visibility to the benefits of volunteer-based tutoring/mentoring programs like Cabrini Connections.. As president of a company that serves the South part of the Chicago region, I'm concerned that there are not enough comprehensive tutor/mentor programs in our area. As school starts, we hope that you will spread the word through your business, church, alumni and social network so that more people will consider being involved in tutor/mentor programs throughout the Chicago region. Funds raised from the annual golf benefit support both the local activities of our Cabrini Connections program and the regional strategy of the Tutor/Mentor Connection. I hope you'll support us in every possible way.

The 2008 Golf Benefit will be held on July 17, at Highland Park Country Club. It will have a SHOTGUN start, with all golfers starting at 1PM and completing their round no later than 6PM. Following golf everyone will gather for a DINNER, Open Bar and Silent Auction. The Auction will run from 5pm till 8pm. Registration is now open. You can sign up a foursome, or as an individual.
